Great to see Bramble walking so well. She was spending a lot of time lying down – we think it’s arthritis. Over the summer while she was in the barn, we ended up putting her in a pen as she was being knocked around by the others – mostly Twiglet who has teenager manners. While she was in the pen, she constantly lay down, and we didn’t think she would get better. So this is really heart-warming to see. Go Bramble!!!

Kangaroo, seen here with Bramble, is also on feed as she doesn’t have any teeth. She can nibble on grass but she has definitely lost weight this year so we are supplementing her diet. Kangaroo is one of the most affectionate sheep we have and goes in for the lean when you stand next to her.

Finally Pecky with his one good eye (up close) and Chubby coming in for a cuddle … we do have some very soppy sheep.
In other news, my thanks to Rosie and Sophie who have been helping with the feeding this year and shared a sheep selfie! We love this photo.
