I got to the farm today and there seemed to be a lot of activity around the bales. I thought last year’s lambs had got themselves stuck. With a little encouragement they wriggled out. And then before I had got back in the car, they had squeezed themselves back in between gate and bale. I then realised this was just fun for lambs. One was super friendly…
52 is having some kidney problems – sadly not uncommon in male neutered sheep. We have had some success in the past with apple cider vinegar so he is being dosed with that and antibiotics to see if we can clear it up. He still has a healthy appetite and had extra Rich Tea biscuits today.

We bought some Readi Grass as a treat – it’s just dried grass but apparently delicious as they all fight over it.
Baby Lamb and Twiglet have clearly been bashing heads! However, some good news … 52’s kidney stone has passed, and he is back to normal. We will keep on dunking his Rich Tea biscuits in apple cider vinegar which sounds revolting, but he still seems to like them.
