The farm had some friendly chickens to stay for a few weeks which was fun!

🐑 🐑 🐑
The view from Davinder’s office window. One of the calves then proceeded to put its leg into the water trough.

🐑 🐑 🐑
A quick check on Georgia and Torn Ear in the main flock – both well – the rest of them taking what shelter they could from the sun against the hedges.
Our veg patch, it looks foggy, turns out the lens just needed cleaning.
And what we are aspiring to – the farm’s veg patch!
Considerably more of the Lsd flock are more sheared than not, now …
Champion is all finished.

Some of the lambs in the main flock have picked up orf, it mainly affects around the mouth.
It’s a virus and can transmit to humans.
It usually clears up fairly quickly and once they have had it once, they don’t get it again.
It usually only affects the lambs, the ewes are just fine as you can see …
Twiglet has one patch of wool to come off, his back left hip.
Every time I start to do it, he collapses into a little lamb puddle on the floor, sitting on his left hip.
Finally 52 seems to be putting a bit of weight on.
Nevertheless he says he is still hungry.
