This month we have a new addition. She is called ‘Tim’s Sheep’. Tim works here at the farm and is always helping us out with the sheep. Tim’s Sheep is an older ewe who is going to spend her retirement with us. Tim sent her over to our flock because she’s so friendly.
Amy is our Trainee Accountant. She joined us in the summer straight from her A-levels and I’m hoping she will stay and start her training with us in September. We may lose her to a big firm in Birmingham, Rush Farm is quite quiet for an 18 year old. However there won’t be any lambing in Birmingham we keep telling her.
She looks like Audrey Hepburn right?
We now have the use of a feeding station … keeps the hay in one place!
The flock has grown so much this year we’ve had to invest in a second pig arc.
They all huddle under here when it rains. The farmer laughed at us when we got it but the sheep love it.
